Dr. Andrew Harris (Dr. Andy) attended Wilkes University and Life Chiropractic College where he received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Dr. Andy’s life changed dramatically during a rugby injury in 1992, which brought him to chiropractic for the first time.
After understanding the benefits of Chiropractic care, he resigned from his engineering job and enrolled at Life College in the fall of 1995. He graduated in March of 1999 and opened his first office in Pennsylvania that fall. Harris Family Chiropractic served the families in that community for over 15 years. Dr. Andy moved to Ormond Beach in the summer of 2014 and started Florida Spine and Wellness Institute.
Both offices shared the same philosophic approach to health and healing: the body heals from above down inside out. You are unable to achieve optimal health without a properly aligned spine and an optimally functioning nervous system. That medication use should be used as a last resource, not as the first. The purpose has always been to create a healthier community, first in Pennsylvania and now in Ormond Beach.
Florida Spine and Disc Institute has been established to add another service to the community. FSDI still adheres to the same philosophical mindset as the other offices, but FSDI also has become the area’s leading office in treating disc related issues. The office specializes in identifying and correcting degeneration, bulges and herniations without the use of drugs or surgeries. With his expertise in diagnosis and the utilization of state-of-the-art equipment, the office is the area’s leading facility in helping men and women regain their health and their lives back.
Dr. Andy is a sought-after speaker on various health related topics.
He has been the team Chiropractor for various sports teams, including the Ursinus College Wrestling team from 2009 through 2013. During his time with the team, he had the privilege to take care of multiple All-Americans and countless national qualifiers. As a writer, Dr. Andy’s article on health and healing has been published in a best-selling book on health. Dr. Andy has given over 700 lectures in his career and is available to speak to organization on health and wellness. He donates his time to Chiropractic students to help guide them through life after school and how to succeed in practice.
When not in practice, he is an avid runner, competing in over 300 road races. He also enjoys coaching, where he has coached track, basketball and flag-football for the Orlando Catholic Youth Sports program since 2014 through 2023. He is the proud father and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his four children, Corrin, Mack, Aidan and Jackson.

Dr. Bryon Washington received his Bachelor’s in Biology Science at Mississippi State University and his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Originally, his plan was to enroll into the Veterinary program held at Mississippi State, but this was before running into a recruiter for Palmer during a biology club meeting. This recruiter showed small snippets of chiropractors at work and how they can impact local communities with their holistic approach for healing the body of both humans and animals. His mother and father are medical doctors who have always maintained a holistic mindset in their practice, and this was also ingrained in him at a very young age. After touring the campus and discovering the history and benefits of chiropractic care, it fully confirmed that becoming a chiropractor would combine his love for animals and helping others heal naturally – all without the use of drugs or surgeries.
He was extremely fortunate to be able to spend time with both Dr. Harris and Dr. Dunlap during his residency; he enjoyed his time with them so much so that when offered the opportunity to work with them there was no question as to where he’d rather serve his community. Dr. Bryon plans to obtain certification in treating pets and animals in the future as an additional service to what he currently provides: holistic treatment of the body as a whole.
